Pastor Stasney started the free bread ministry (bread donated from local businesses) in early 2005. That year the church served over 150 families each week when the FEMA emergency temporary housing project (approximately 1,300 people living there) was located near the church. Today the church serves an average of 25 to 50 families each week.
